1. Article Processing Charges (APC)

Jurnal Sistem Cerdas is committed to supporting the dissemination of high-quality scientific research through an accessible and transparent scholarly publishing process.

To support editorial management, peer review administration, manuscript processing, online publication, and journal maintenance, Jurnal Sistem Cerdas applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to manuscripts accepted for publication.

The publication fees are as follows:

The APC of IDR 500,000 (five hundred thousand Indonesian rupiah) applies to each accepted article, regardless of the number of authors.

2. Payment Policy

The Article Processing Charge is payable only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

Authors are not required to pay any fees during initial submission, editorial screening, or peer review.

Once a manuscript has been accepted, the corresponding author will receive an official payment notification from the editorial office containing payment instructions.

Authors must make payments only through the official payment channels designated by Jurnal Sistem Cerdas.

Payment of the APC does not guarantee manuscript acceptance or influence editorial decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated based on scientific merit, originality, relevance, methodological quality, and compliance with publication ethics.

3. Services Covered by the APC

The Article Processing Charge contributes to the costs associated with the journal's publication process, including:

Editorial administration and manuscript management.
Peer review coordination and administration.
Manuscript preparation and publication processing.
Article layout and formatting.
Online publication and digital journal maintenance.
Journal website management and electronic archiving.
Publication metadata preparation and dissemination.

The APC is intended to support the journal's publishing operations while maintaining accessibility for researchers and academic communities.

4. No Submission or Review Fees

Jurnal Sistem Cerdas does not charge authors for manuscript submission or participation in the peer review process.

Authors may submit their manuscripts without any initial financial obligation.

Manuscripts that are rejected during editorial screening or peer review will not incur publication charges.

The journal is committed to ensuring that editorial decisions remain independent of financial considerations.

5. Refund Policy

APC payments are requested only after the manuscript has been formally accepted.

Refund requests, including cases involving withdrawal or cancellation after payment, will be reviewed by the editorial office in accordance with the journal's applicable financial policies.

Authors are encouraged to contact the editorial office before making payment if they require clarification regarding publication charges, payment procedures, or refund eligibility.

6. Fee Waiver and Discount Policy

Requests for APC waivers or discounts, if permitted under the journal's applicable policies, must be submitted to the editorial office with appropriate justification.

Any waiver or discount decision shall be independent of the editorial evaluation and peer review process.

Fee waivers or discounts do not guarantee acceptance for publication.

7. Publication Ethics and Financial Transparency

Jurnal Sistem Cerdas maintains a clear separation between editorial decision-making and financial administration.

The editorial team evaluates manuscripts based solely on scholarly quality, relevance, originality, research integrity, and reviewer recommendations.

APC payments are not used as a criterion for accepting or rejecting manuscripts.

The journal is committed to transparent publication charges and does not impose undisclosed submission or review fees.

8. Payment Confirmation and Contact

Following manuscript acceptance, the corresponding author will receive official instructions regarding APC payment and confirmation procedures.

Authors should retain proof of payment and submit it through the communication channel specified by the editorial office.
